FITEC was incorporated in Queensland on 25 March 1998 as a private Registered Training Organisation (RTO). FITEC is a not-for-profit association managed by an elected Management Committee. The Management Committee members are voluntary industry personnel representing the Forest and Forest Products Industry in Queensland. FITEC provides training, assessment and associated services to industry personnel throughout the State of Queensland and other States and Territories as required.
We conduct business for members of the four of the six sectors of the industry including: Timber Merchandising, Sawmilling and Processing, Timber Manufactured Products and Forest Harvesting and Haulage.
